Public Policy debate

Each group must use create debate to state and explain:
at least 5 arguments for the public policy
at least 5 arguments against the public policy

Each argument MUST

• be at least one paragraph long
• have at least two web sources (news articles, statistics, graphs, etc.)

Present their side of the debate in a five minute presentation (power point is recommended but not required)
Rebut the opposing groups argument for 2 minutes

Grading:
create debate = 5 points per argument (50 total)
presentation = 20 points
rebuttal = 10 points
participation/effort = 10 points (awarded by partner)
total= 90 points
